Allow users to manually set a pre-existing usage for components. That would be particularly useful when a user acquires a used component with known prior usage (e.g., a second-hand cassette for a trainer).
We looked into this. The catch on our side: we don't currently show total mileage per component. Usage only counts from the moment you add the part or a chosen date. So a pre-existing number would have nowhere to surface, and you'd never actually see it reflected anywhere.
Might be we're thinking about it too narrowly though. Can you tell us more about how you'd want to use it?
